Solar Buckler is a passionate, detailed oriented technician who has a keen desire to achieve, collaborate and produce thought provoking films and stylistic commercials. He doesn't just bring his technical ability but also his high adept problem solving skills, scheduling and logistic process. Brought up in south east London Solar he studied film for a total of 9 years ranging from film studies in secondary school to a film production degree at the renowned Bournemouth Film School graduating with a degree in cinematography . While sparking and working with a range of cinematographers he went to work at MBSE rental house in Slough specialising in networking fixing switches, nodes, moving heads and wireless radios transceiver, Solar broadened not just his skill set but also his contact list. Fostering a community spirit, on set he knows that his crew behind him are just as important and can be the differences from making a film being average to brilliant. Some of his visual influences include Apocalypse now, Vittorio Storaro, Gerhard Richter, Peter Doig, Do The Right Thing, Ernest Dickerson
